Chapter: “The Last Council”

The Council — the authority meant to protect the universe — orders Caden-X and the Titan Corps to surrender their ships and bury the evidence. While appearing to cooperate, Vela enters the oldest restricted archives and discovers the truth: three of the five Council members traded entire systems for their own survival and made a secret bargain with Morrax.

Lyra-7's mark reveals three possible futures: restore the Grid and preserve its control, destroy it and release the Void, or attempt a third path with a terrible cost. Caden-X, Lyra-7, Zogo and the others go rogue together, cut off from any backup, as the Council fleet and Morrax close in on the Grid's hidden core.
